The Rose Ball 2025 Celebrates 75 Years

On June 12, the AHRC Foundation welcomed supporters, partners, and community leaders to its 75th Annual Rose Ball at Oheka Castle — a milestone evening that honored leadership, celebrated partnership, and raised over $340,000 to strengthen programs and services across Long Island.

For 75 years, the Rose Ball has brought the community together around a shared purpose: ensuring children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to the resources, opportunities, and support they rely on. Funds raised through the event help the Foundation safeguard and strengthen services, stepping forward when funding shifts to ensure support does not step back. Through its partnerships with AHRC Nassau, Brookville Center for Children’s Services, Citizens Options Unlimited, and other community-based providers, the Foundation translates generosity into tangible impact.

“This evening, we don’t just raise a glass — we raise expectations,” said Tom Rosicki, President of the AHRC Foundation Board of Directors and Master of Ceremonies, capturing the spirit of momentum and shared commitment that defined the night.

A highlight of the program was the presentation of the 2025 Leadership Award to Joshua Lamberg, Founder and CEO of Lamb Insurance Services. Lamberg’s practice is dedicated exclusively to serving nonprofit organizations nationwide, providing specialized insurance solutions and risk management expertise designed for mission-driven work. His partnership has helped strengthen operational stability and protection, allowing organizations to focus on delivering services with confidence.

The Foundation also presented its inaugural Cornerstone Award to the Long Island Wine & Liquor Sales Club, recognizing nearly 80 years of charitable commitment and more than 25 years as AHRC Foundation’s exclusive charitable partner. Through its annual golf outing — now raising over $100,000 each year — the LIWL Club helps fund and continues to support items such as communication devices, iPads, sensory and playground equipment, community recreation opportunities/activities, and in-school enrichment that expand learning environments and everyday opportunities.

The 75th Rose Ball was more than a celebration of history. It was a powerful demonstration of what partnership, leadership, and community generosity make possible — today and for years to come.
